The A-70 was introduced to
the Gallagher collection in 1998. This orchestra model
features a rosewood back and side with a select sitka spruce
tophas appointments like all of the 70 series guitars:
ivorid bound body, neck and fingerboard; mother-of-pearl
diamond and square position markers; ebony fingerboard and
bridge; herringbone purfling and sound hole rosette; bone
nut and saddle; and chrome Schaller tuning keys.
The neck width at the nut is 1 3/4". (45mm) The Orchestra
body provides the balance desired in a fine fingerstyle
guitar with a stronger presence than the auditorium body
style. The guitar is in excellent + condition, has great
looks, and has more than excellent tone! Includes the OHC! A
very Famous player of Gallagher guitars among others is of
course is Doc Watson!
