True bypass switching with led indicator- this is achieved by using
an high grade switch, in addendum Solid 20 gauge copper hookup wire
is used between the jacks and switching to create a transparent
bypass.

Three knob control for tonal versatility-The Direct drive uses a
simple three knob control layout with a push/pull tone knob for a
second Fat Harmonics voice. Voice one brings the classic tones of
the past to veteran players then simply pull the tone knob for
modern fat harmonic tones...KILLER!

High quality components- Players have requested the use of carbon
resistors, metalized polyester caps. These components were thought
to be only available on the highest priced pedals. Players asked,

Ready for 18 volt operation-The Direct Drive operates from 9 volts
to 18 volts, this allows use of higher voltage converters and
supplies, for players who want to try higher voltage tweaks.

Barber adjustable phono style recovery stage- Most of our op-amp
based overdrive pedals use a cool old style phonograph circuit to
recover the frequencies lost in the overdrive stage, this worked
great for vinyl and now works great for guitar overdrive!

The Direct Drive brings new clarity to the Barber Line while
delivering startlingly accurate tube style overdrive, bass notes
have separation like never before, chords ring with clarity, and
sweet vintage voices sing from your guitar...this is the tone to die
for.
Direct Drive Manual Bass adjustable.
Controls are Volume, Tone (you
can pull this knob to switch in the “fat harmonics” mode) and
drive.
Volume is usually 12 o clock
for a starter on the normal setting when you Pull the Tone knob try
setting the volume to 10 o
clock, for Tone usually 3 o clock is a good starter and drive set
from 9 o
clock to 12 o clock.
Here are some suggested
settings, please keep in mind these are only general suggestions and
your best
tones will be found by
experimenting and dialing in your best tone.
1. Clean drive- Vol, 12:00
Tone set to max (pull for fatter boost) and drive set between min
and 7:30
2. Country rock_ vol 12:00
Tone 4:30 drive 8:00-9:00
3. light electric blues- Vol
12:00 Tone 12:00 to 4:00 (pull for electric delta setting) drive
8:30-10:00.
4. 808 killer!-12:00-2:00 tone
2:00-5:00 (pull for 808+ Tweed!) drive. 11:00-1:00.
5. Vintage Marshall- vol 12:00
tone 3:00-4:00 (pull California rhythm) drive 1:30-3:30.
6. Hot Modded Marshall + early
90’s R.F.- Vol 12:00 Tone 4:00-max (pull R.F. tone) drive 3:00-max.
