Varioboost Preamplifier: The tone scalpel. Boost or cut any frequency from 70Hz to 1400Hz. You can cut out the "mid hump" of OD's, scoop the mids of distortions, boost bass, boost treble, cut bass for radio sounds, cut treble for dark sounds, simulate out of phase pickups, coax single coil sound from humbuckers, or the opposite, cop half cocked wah tones. Much more effective than a graphic EQ because you don't have to reference a chart or book for great sounds.
